Photographer's Note
This presents some of the north eastern Poland which we passed by this summer on our way from Finland to Croatia. The shot was taken just after the Lithuanian border.
The trip took us over Via Baltica to Poland, where the "Via Baltica" was getting renewed and this was an epxrienced. Now, I do not want to insult Poles, but even though the roads are not the best in Poland, what happened with this reconstructions was really terrible. I mean on some parts there was no payment at all so you had to drive through the mud. And I just washed my car before we left....this was really disappointing.
However, other things were pretty great. The landscapes of Poland are rather variable, they change quite a lot from North to South, and I hope you will have a chance to see this once I upload a few more photos in this travelogue.
Regarding thechnicalities. There was some post shot work performed here due to the simple reasons that the original was underexposed. So I had to add some color to the sky and field. The pic was also cropped from the bottom just a bit to balance it. In PS I applied shadow reduction, highlighting and contrast to the blue channel. I hope you will like it. Alan
