Photographer's Note

A planned visit to Dunraven Bay was not going very well as what promised to be a good sunset came to nothing, until the sun slipped below the horizon. In a few seconds the light changed and I noticed these wonderful reflections in the sand and rock pools. An adjustment in the height of the tripod allowed the perfect angle to capture the reflected colours. In addition to the nd grad I also used my Lee polariser. The title 'Pool of Thought', I really thought I was going to come away that beautiful August evening with nothing.
