Photo prise au bord de la rivière Saguenay, qui depuis le 1er avril s'est libérée des glaces. La maison sur le rocher appartient à un médecin, l'une des plus belles propriétées de la ville de Jonquière. Et quel vue!

Martin interesting concept by including the distant homes on the other side of the water. It certainly adds depth to this scene. Nice balance in the framework!

La fine couche de glace encore présente indique que le printemps est là... mais on ne sait jamais...le blanc tranche bien avec la limpidité du bleu du ciel et de la rivière. Cette photo tourne la page du changement de saison, le passage de l'hiver au printemps.

Hi Martin,
A superb shot of this Saguenay scene. I like the balanced composition, with the steep slope of the cliff nicely focussing and anchoring the scene. The ice and snow, the view of the houses across the river, and the overall perspective, make this a very successful shot. Well captured.

bonne composition pour cette photo. Dommage que le ciel soit si vide de nuages, il manque quelque chose en dans cette partie de l'image. Il fait trop beau chez toi ! ;)

Hi Martin,
The water here still looks COLD but it's a wonderful scene! I found a website to use so I can translate your note (I don't know very much French, sorry...) so it was nice to be able to understand what you wrote.
You've captured some wonderfully intense colours here, particularly with the water and the sky, and I love the composition: it has a nice balance. As usual, your image quality is first class!
