Photographer's Note

A Sunflower about to bloom on the outskirts of Gulbarga in North Karnataka. Large tracts of land in North Karnataka are under Sunflower cultivation, one of the fastest growing cash-crops in India used for edible oil. Sunflower is grown in about 1 million hectare covering both the irrigated and rain-fed areas in the state. With timely rainfall, the farmers, who had opted for sunflower cultivation, are getting expected yields.

I look through Your portfolio and I am truthfully delighted so a bulk of beautiful photographs. Beautiful are Your photoes of the nature, portraits and generic scenes. This composition is increible, details are very goods and colours to. Yellow and green contrast very well in this photo. I love the fact that the flor is just opening (or closing). Well done.

Très joli ce moment que tu as capturé, elle semble se cacher pour que tu ne la photographies pas, comme si elle jouait à cache-cache.
J'aime bien cet instant, à moitié ouverte, à moitié fermée, et le tout dans de très belles couleurs.
Ton cadrage est tip-top.

Wonderful Sabyasachi..not only the colours, but also the state in which the flower is...fully bloomed on the left contrasting with the right. Great observation.The tight criopping works well here

My God Sabyasachi, this is really amazing. It's surely one of the best flower photos I've seen in my entire life. The composition is so good, but are the colors that amaze me. The tones really use the entire spectrum between green and yellow. I just miss a little sharpness here, but that's a very tiny thing that you can easily compensate. Fabulous light!

Well, it seem you are quite a diversified shutterbug, huh.
From cool and impressive textures of a human portraits, to the wonderful scenery of mother earth. And now, this is closer to mother earth. The nature photography.
A very unique rendering of such image, which is quite rare in TE. An image of halfly blooming sunflower with such cool nature color. Unbelievable the best shot I've seen. A nicely executed close-up shot, my friend.
