this is a piece of art by Duane Hanson, an american artist.

Hanson's super-realist sculptures are cast from human models and rendered in polyvinyl, auto body filler (bondo), or bronze. The "skin" of the sculptures is painted in such detail as to resemble human flesh. The sculptures are then finished with clothing, hair, jewelry and other accessories.

A good one, Eric, you could have fooled me again, this time I would have thought an artwork to be a human visitor, albeit a strange one at that. Ayayay...
I recall having seen Hanson in Budapest way back then... always had a big laugh at his "tourists" etc...

Plus réaliste, tu meurs ! Je m'interroge sur la nationalité de ce personnage dont les rondeurs attestent d'un solide coup de fourchette et dont le goût vestimentaire est pour le moins douteux... La photo est comme de coutûme bien traitée. Merci.

Now that's random Eric; you had me fooled I thought that was a real person!

Clean, simple framing has really exaggerated the perculiarity of the subject and then there's that really bizarre contrast with the Ferrari F1 car in the background. It has been an enjoyably irreverent tongue-in-cheek series of shots from you lately.

Je ne suis généralement pas une grande fan d'art contemporain, mais là, je dois reconnaître que cette sculpture est surprenante de réalisme! J'ai vraiment cru qu'il s'agissait d'une vraie personne installée tranquillement pour lire son journal. Surprenant!

Excellent cette serie de photo Eric.
L'angle de vue est intéressant avec ce fond et ce sac, c'est très camping tout ça ! Ici, le grand angle lui fait des jambes de poteaux, déforme le personnage et accentue ce côté burlesque ... créant par la même occasion une autre vision sculpturale .

Je l'aurais aimé un peu plus clair cependant ...

j'aime bien ta serie sur la FIAC, avec des compositions de grande qualité.
mais j'ai un faible pour celle de " La mére de Schumarer " attendant le fiston !
belle capture et colorimetrie agreable.
