Photographer's Note
We are here in the closest place to Sri Lanka ,in India.
The village have been destroyed by a typhoon in 1962, and never really rebuilt.
Only some poor houses in here.
On the beach, the nets have to be repaired.

Good piece of photojournalism taking us right into the action. You caught the basket in the forground and the photograph has a good transition from foreground to background with good exposure and colors.
Great Job.

J'aime bien

Hi, Joel! Beautiful shot! I like the combination of white and blue colours here, the composition is really great - unusual and very clear. Wonderful picture.

This, like all your other images, is very well composed and executed Joel. You sure are in a different league altogether. A first among equals! Carry on the great work and keep treating us to your gems.

Bonsoir Joel,
Bravo!
Angel.

Joel,
Nice place, Dhanushkodi..A symbol of lost splendour... A place of of legendary & reliigious significance..So much to say..But this shot brings it to the contemporary reality of a fishing village!...
A journey unending..Thanks,
Prem.

Hello Joel,
I am struck by the incredibly fresh, lovely, bright spring colours of this one. The composition also is fantastic, I love your dare to truncate the figures this way in the foreground, it gives an additional punch to the image.
Very nice work again!
