Photographer's Note

This is about half way of the 15 km taking me to Lake Samsjøen, looking back to the valley I left behind.

Over to the right hand side of the horizon we can see a mountain with the features of a volcano, however that is not so! There are no volcanoes in Norway…

This view is straight to the South, and the mountains across the valley belong to Forollhogna National Park, well known for the large population of reindeer.
