Outhouse and waterfall, a photo from Sogn og Fjordane, Sud

Photographer's Note

This is an old settlement close to a waterfall. The waterfall is Huldafossen and is lokated in Førde. The waterfall is quite high, but it looks small.

(If the sound of running water makes you have to pee, then this outhouse is nicely lokated...)

perhaps the photo should be a bit larger - but all in all it´s very attractive!

Nice photo! The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and detail. I like your composition framing the waterfall with the greenery. I agree that the size could be larger!

Hello Halgeir!
I could say...You were quicker. And let me explain why...

...Because I've taken almost the same photo as yours. Same place, same spot, same house, waterfall and privy. The only difference is that I've got several sheeps on mine. I was about to post it here today maybe tomorrow, and what do I see?
You may imagine how surprised I was. Especially since this place is rather not "Preikestolen-type", where masses of tourists come and take photos from the same spot.

Ok - and now - speaking about the photo itself. I like it (as well as I like mine =). Composition is good, colours are warm and pleasant. You managed to capture a nice sunny moment here.

Amazing house and beautiful waterfall, well seen and done Halgeir, I love these houses with the grass over the roof and this have also some small tree, fantastic, beautiful place too with this not small waterfall, brava.

Nice photo, I like the waterfall and the heart on the outhouse wall is a nice touch. Very nice detail in the lumber cabin as well.
