Redbull Air Race, London, qualification day.

These photographies were taken from the standing zone 2, one of the zone close to the O2 site.

This a merge of two pictures of the same plane taken in high-speed continuous shooting mode, maybe 0.2 seconds between the two ...

I used Photostitch, and I cropped the result.

The plane is Nicolas Ivanoff's, the only french pilot of the competition. His plane is an Extra 300SR, which is an Extra 300 modified specially for Redbull Air Race.

J'avais vu des images de cet évenement en Turquie, mais je vois que d'autres pays acceuillent aussi le spectacle.

Nice composition that to mix those two pictures, the result looks like a air persecution. The sky is quite dramatic too.

TFS your pics about the Red Bull Event! This picture give me ideas to use with my new D40. You were at the right time at the right place, good composition.
