Photographer's Note
Shot at Matupetty Dam near Munnar,Kerala.
While we were passing on the road , there was a small path running down the hillock leading to the dam. It seems elephants use that path to reach the dam and so it is called 'The Elephant Crossing'. It was refreshing view of the water from a different perspective.

i like this composition here with the slender tree trunks in the water (!)
i dont mind the tilt of the horizon, it gives a spontaneous feeling to the picture

I am disappointed this hasn't scored more points already - already I am a sucker for monochrome shots, and shots involving rippling water - so to combine the two is right up my alley.
However - although I'm quite sure your rotation is deliberate, I fancy a little workshop to see how it looks without - I hope you still like it!
