I just auto-adjusted the levels and increased saturation a bit, to show more of the colours of the greens.
I also cropped a bit to make it easier to fit TE's maximum sizes.

    Hope you like it :)

Here's a version without the wire.
I cloned it out and cropped a bit too.
    Hope you like it.

Just changed the Levels to lighten up the crossing a bit.
Hope you like it and won't hate me for it :)

I thought it was quite a typical picture of Armenia, but it looked a bit too green hence flat. I've increased the cyan colour balance, to cancel out the dominating greenness.

    Hope it's good :o)

    Dag Lukas,

    Hi Izzet,
I have added some contrast through the curves, except for the face of this woman, then turned it to sepia and framed.
    Did I do too much?

My intension was not to add to the picture as it is perfect IMHO.

I just wanted to accentuate the expulsion of those children from our society...

The original picture in color brings the beauty of this child to the front. Looking to his eyes you can't love him...

There I tried to flip the picture horizontally and see if it will bring any difference. I think this works differently with my brain's right-side. When he is on the left, he looks more 'expelled' to me!
    What do you think?

    So what have I done:
    1. NI (Neat Image)
    2. placed the NI-d version as a new layer on the original.
    3. Deleted everything from the NI layer except the head
    4. B/W with channel mixer
    5. Flipped the image horizontally

    I'm so sad...

Thank you Manuel for the food you gave him.
And thank you for the spiritual food you gave us.

    Best regards,
    Garo

Though I like the original version, looking at this picture I wandered if I can make it get closer to the prayer's inner world. My intention was to create a more 'praying' atmosphere.
Here is what I have done in PhotoShop CS (15min):
    1. Cropped
    2. Duplicate Layer & set its Opacity to 50%
    3. Performed Gaussian Blur of 7.0 pixels on the dupliacated layer
    4. Erased fog from the prayer's area using a soft Eraser with opacity of 20%
