Intro: I love to travel, and always have. I do not consider myself to be a tourist, but a traveler - more interested in experiences than merely seeing the time-honored sights. I love finding those little unknown gems that tourists pass by.

And I find great joy in seeing, experiencing, and photographing my home state - Kansas. Perhaps it takes a special eye to enjoy its beauties, but I guess I have it. If you haven't yet, please look at my Kansas travel photos.

I am retired now, and happy to find more opportunities to get out and hit the back roads in search of the unknown.

Family? Married, two daughters, two beautiful granddaughters (one newly born in February 2010), and expecting another granddaughter in April.
