As autumn is a perfect season to travel, my wife and I decided to go on a long drive to Tasmania, the island state in southern Australia. It took us 14 days to complete, 3 days to go to Melbourne through SE Queensland, Central and West New South Wales and Central Victoria, 8 days in Tasmania (including the return trip by ferry across Bass Strait) and another 3 days to return back home.
