Photographer's Note

Manger is an important city square in the center of Bethlehem.It takes its name from the manger where Jesus was born which, according to Christian dogma, is in the Church of the Nativity, possibly the oldest existing church in the world, which surrounds the square.
Also around Manger Square is the Mosque of Omar,that you can see in this picture.

the POV and the exposure are really good. Such a historical place, birthplace of Christians. It would be too good, if the different religions would life in peasce together like the buildings do. TFS

Hello alin,

Excellent panoramic view of Bethlehem, as beautiful colors and lights.
The POV is ideal but prominent minaret, a historical center for the Catholic. The framing is superb and the beautiful sky, TFS.

Greetings Alin. When I see photos of the town of Bethlehem I am curious in wonder what life is like there. It would have been nice to see more of the street people here. As well I am curious as to what the view looks like over the town from up that tower. Are you able to get up there for a over the town perspective? Thanks for sharing.

Hello Alin, Wonderful shot of this area. I don't remember seeing very many pictures of here. The buildings are very unusual compared to western standards, and the mosque is certainly extremely imposing. I note lots of people in the entrance to the mosque, tourists very likely.
