Photographer's Note

Bad Ischl is a spa town in the Lake District of Upper Austria nestled against the River Traun. This town was Emperor Franz Joseph’s summer capital during his reign from 1848 to 1916. Concerts in the park are common here in the summer time, and skiing is popular in this region in the winter.

Thought I'd run this image through Neat Image to remove the noise in the sky. It made the water too smooth, so I had my first attempt to use layers in Photoshop. Only the sky and buildings were smoothened, and then sharpened the entire image. I think it helped. I'm still unhappy with the mountains; if anyone has any suggestions?
